Sakura Haruno Overview

Pros
  • Great Jutsu, when hit, can create other opportunities if the opponent doesn't tech.

  • Tilt can lead into multiple things

  • Can awaken twice in a row


Cons
  • Somewhat easy to sub chains

  • Dependant on close range

  • Slow as crap ougi animation


Chains
OOO^O
Her Aerial chain is basically Sakura kicking her opponent into the air, which can lead into an untechable x-dash, into an aerial chain.

OOO>O
This chain is a just a simple straight forward launching punch to the face. It's good when you want someone out of your face.

OOOvO
She kicks her opponent downwards. Nothing really special.

OOOO
Possibly one of my favorite chains next to her aerial chain, she slams the opponent down giving them bounce status, then jumps in the air, grabs them and slams them down again. Can be great if your opponent is blocking your chain, and you want a safe way out of there.



Grab
Her animation is pretty much just a lunge towards her opponent with both hands, nothing special about that. But the actual grab itself, when she grabs the opponent, slams them on the ground, and tosses them away from her is pretty good. It around 70% of the time will throw the opponent away from a wall, so it could easily create strikeback.



Tilt
Her tilt is probably one of her greatest assests. Sakura lunges towards her opponent with an elbow rush, then punches them away, which could create strikeback. However, you can also cancel the tilt attack with chakra shuriken, to make it safer. Best thing about her tilt attack is that you can tilt, then x-dash cancel immediatly into her jutsu. This is all untechable.



Jutsu
Cherry Blossom Clash
Jutsu is very unsafe on block. It's also very slow if you use it on the ground. Make sure you surprise your opponent by not being too predictable with her jutsu. If the jutsu hits, you can throw an explosive tag at your opponent, which is untechable, and can create strikeback.



Ougi
The animation for this is pretty terrible. Only use it when it's set up for, or if you are a decent range away from the opponent.



Awakening
In Sakura's awakening she summons a good amount of chakra to her hands and gets even stronger than she was before. The buff ups aren't too special, but they are decent. Sakura gets a pretty good attack up, and she can get an even better guard crush. If you use her guard crush item right before going into her mode, she gets around a 75% guard crush gain, making you able to destroy the opponents guard for a few seconds. Also, if her mode runs out, you can use the dirty syringe item to immediately get rid of the buff down she gets from her awakening running out, and then get right back into her mode.
